Sharon Unger enjoys life in Southern Alberta with her husband Darrel and their four children Aubrey, Erik, Isaac and Anna. She has spent the past 6 years living in, and traveling between, Ontario, BC and Alberta sharing with hundreds of others what she has learned from her personal struggles with bipolar affective disorder. She speaks publicly on conquering the illness and achieving mental wellness. Sharon has more than 20 years of business experience. She is an entrepreneur and has also managed single unit and large multiunit corporations. Sharon spent many years in the retail bakery industry with a concentration in the areas of operations and concept development. She has extensive experience in the franchise and retail markets and brings with her a unique combination of knowledge based competencies. Sharon loves life. She believes her greatest blessing next to her faith and family is the miles she has walked mentally ill and the opportunity it has afforded her to found Shinah House.
