Gayle Horton

Gayle Horton is a Doctor of Medical Heilkunst, a highly individualized and principled method of treatment. Her personal as well as professional commitment to holistic health and well-being has also lead her to study orthomolecular medicine, Biodynamic Nutrition & Live Cell Microscopy.

Gayle was farm raised and Toronto transplanted, and finds herself returning to the simple and essential life qualities of rural living.

Although always drawn to the healing arts, Gayle's first active, professional experience was as a youth social worker for a progressive inner city agency.  Her current commitment is with George Herman House, a unique mental health residence, witnessing women coping with mental breaks becoming whole and healthy. As program coordinator, she nurtures the elemental importance of nutrition, life skills and personal growth for wellness. Gayle is honored to be part of the genesis of Shinah House and the vital opportunity to participate in a health transformation.
