carolyn scott Carolyn Scott M.A. is a Psychologist currently working with Correctional Services of Canada. She provides individual therapy as well as crisis intervention and assessment of risk. In addition, she provides clinical supervision to Behavior Counselors, at Fraser Valley Institution Carolyn obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS and her Masters of Arts, Counseling Psychology at Trinity Western University. She also holds certification in Dialectical and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She has worked as a Coordinator and Mental Health case worker, Recreation Director and counselor for various mental health and addiction facilities. She has counseled individuals, groups and families with mental illness, alcohol and drug addiction as well as issues of sexual and physical abuse. Carolyn resides in beautiful Chilliwack, BC. She has a daughter, a son and three grandchildren. Carolyn is the founder of Global Vision Legacy which sells jewelry in support of the third world cottage industry. Carolyn is dedicated to helping those struggling with their mental wellness, find hope and their path to wellness through the doors of Shinah House.
